Bali

Updated: Jun 28

Bali has been pretty anabolic to say the least

I must say, just before leaving on this trip I said to @stephandt “I think I’ll be pretty happy if I can just maintain what I’ve got while I’m away and then we get back to growing once I’m back home” - and to be honest I didn’t expect this experience at all. Without a doubt I’ve gotten bigger and stronger without letting body composition slide.

It just emphasizes the biggest lesson I’ve learnt while being here - your environment dictates your outcome.

You cannot be a professional in an amateur environment.

From day one I jumped straight in the deep end and joined @undefeatedgym surrounded by guys and girls with dreams and aspirations that make mine seem small, IFBB pros and coaches who’ve collectively walked thousands of clients along the path to success, athletes who live the game year round and people who are just so happy in pursuit of their goals - who see no option but to “stick to the plan”.

As much as I’ve always preached about consistency and chasing your goal year round, that an offseason isn’t time to give up on your grind - I haven’t fully embraced it like the last 45 days has shown me.

It’s shown me how easy it really is to stick to your shit when the people you see daily all strive to be in the top 1%.

Your environment is the single biggest influence in your day to day life.

Make sure it breeds progress and consistency
