Just do the next thing

You don’t need to do everything, you just need to do the next thing.


One of the most difficult things I see people deal with when they start towards a big goal is how intimidating it is seeing everything you need to do laid about in front of you. It’s a lot.


Like me, lots of people struggle to get started because you think you need to nail everything right now.

You feel like you need to all of a sudden go from 0-100.

From not having any structure to suddenly having every minute of your day mapped out.


This is gonna drive you crazy.

Stop thinking you need to do everything.


All you gotta focus on is the single step in front of you. Just what you to do right now. Just do that. Tick it off, physically tick it off of a list. Close it. Move on.


After a while of just doing one thing you’ll realize you’ve done a lot of things. And a lot of things = a lot of steps closer to your goal.


Simple advice sure, but it’s helped me get out of my head more times than not
